Bugged-Out Big Rigs

The Volvo Ants Concept by Alex Marzo is Eco- and Business-Friendly

Designer Alex Marzo is attempting to change the way overland cargo is shipped with his Volvo Ants concept. Volvo Ants is a redesigned big rig that is both eco-friendly and business-friendly. The rig has a streamlined design and can hold containers for a variety of different stores.

With all the greening of the automobile industry that is going on, you would think that someone would create a biofuel or electric big rig. That hasn’t happened yet, but it’s due to. Big rigs still fill and pollute America’s roads and will continue to do so for some time. Volvo Ants would help clean things up with its electric engine and smart storage space. The Ants’ trailer is divided up into sections. These sections can hold individual pieces of cargo allowing Ants to maximize its time spent on deliveries.
