The Volkswagen AIDA, the newest creation from the VW and MIT, is a remarkable display of advanced technology. The Volkswagen AIDA was initially developed last year as a robotic head in the dashboard that would provide you with directions, but is now a holographic virtual display that allows you to view a real-time version of your entire dashboard as you drive.
The Volkswagen AIDA can be synchronized with your personal schedule and slowly begins to recognize what you’re interested in and where you like to eat, allowing it to suggest activities or restaurants that may be of interest to you as you travel through the city. It also has the ability to incorporate real-time information (i.e. traffic, accidents, weather concerns) into your recommended route design.
The Volkswagen AIDA is still in the developing stages, but could alter the way some drive forever, providing drivers with a personalized constantly updating information system -- as well as another distraction while on the road.
