Vinylmation (an amalgamation of the words "vinyl" and "animation") is a brand of Disney collectibles that are made from vinyl and come in the shape of the Disney mascot Mickey Mouse.
Pixar characters are the most recent group of Disney properties to get the Vinylmation treatment with the current batch including Boo from Monsters Inc., Elastigirl from the Incredibles, Dot from a Bugs Life, Alpha from Up, Dory from Finding Nemo, Mr. Pricklepants from Toy Story 3 and Ratatouille from Ratatouille. All the Vinylmation characters are 3 inches tall, are created by Disney artists and feature poseable arms and heads.
Vinylmations were created back in 2008 and have been increasing in popularity; it's easy to see why with such gorgeous and cute creations.
