The Retron 4 Plays Tons of Vintage Games with an HDMI Connection

There are plenty of vintage consoles floating around out there that let you play old school Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis games out there.

Hyperkin's recently announced Retron 4, which hopes to be the last one you'll ever want. After experiencing significant success with their previous Retron line of all in one vintage consoles, Hyperkin needed to step up its game to beat out its last offering. The Retron 4 will add a slot to play Game Boy Advance games on your television in addition to the existing Super Nintendo, Genesis and NES slots. The system will allow for use of the original controllers as well as a set of proprietary ones. Finally, Hyperkin is bringing vintage consoles into the high definition era by allowing the system to be connected to an HDTV through a built in HDMI connection.

Hyperkin will be unveiling more about the Retron 4 at the end of March at the Midwest Gaming Classic.
