The Vikings & Goddesses Pie Company Adopted Futamura's NatureFlex Film

The Vikings & Goddesses Pie Company has adopted a new kind of packaging for its frozen products to help the brand shift towards greater sustainability. The packaging update has seen the brand utilize Futamura's NatureFlex film as the main component that's sourced through pouch and film converter Elk Packaging. The packaging is observed on three of the bakery brand's product SKUs and is compostable thanks to the BPI and TÜV-certified materials in the composition.

Owner of the Vikings & Goddesses Pie Company Rachel Anderson spoke on the new packaging saying, "I am pleased to have found a compostable solution to our packaging challenge with our converter partner Elk Packaging. Not only is the new solution compostable, it also works technically without the addition of a sticker or liner, that would need to be removed before tossing into the compost bin."
