Air pollution could be on its way out if the VIERIA concept car ever gets off the ground. VIERIA was designed by students Gunwoong Kim and Suji Kim as an eco-friendly pod car that is also capable of cleaning dirty air.
The VIERIA concept car is powered by electricity and seats one. The sleek and short design should help this car get maximum mileage between fill-ups. Of course, the star attraction of the car is its built-in air filter. The front of the VIERIA filters the dirt and dust out of the air and releases it in a clean and breathable form out the rear. I could see this design getting a lot of play in smoggy cities like Los Angeles, which are a long way from having consistently clean air.
