Never the one to take herself too seriously and always making jabs at herself, Victoria Beckham is featured sucking her thumb on the cover of the February 2009 issue of Vogue Russia.
The cover, which was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, is a big surprise because Russian Vogue is one of the very few magazine who have not succumbed to ‘selling out’ with celebrity covers so far.
Has Victoria Beckham gone up the fashion icon status or has Vogue Russia gone down and lost credibility? Personally, I like the cover, but it’d be interesting to see how the magazine proceeds in the future.
