Metre Architects' Vessel Project Renovates a Small Space

Design studio Metre Architects is a firm recognized for its social solutions and its Vessel Project showcases just that. The renovation project is location in Singapore as the studio takes a condo apartment through renovation processes by adding a loft structure.

This is done to cater to the homeowner's needs and lifestyle -- it is home to a young professional couple. The two wanted to add to its compact space whilst retaining elements that they enjoyed including the floor finishes, the bathroom, and the kitchen. When entering the space, visitors are met by a linear kitchen to the left of the hallway. The loft is visible from the doorway as well and the bottom of the loft is lined with LED strip lights.
