Richard Stevens and Joohee Lee of Forpeople Design created a versatile chair dubbed the 'Keyn' to work in virtually any space.
This was challenging for the team, as their goal was to design a piece that not only functioned in multiple environments, but did not detract from the overall aesthetic appeal of the room in anyway. The project was made to fit into Herman Miller's 'Living Office' concept -- combining the elements of office furniture with at-home living rooms and more. With this in mind, Richard Stevens and Joohee Lee created three different base models that work to this effect.
The versatile chairs are made conscious of style, comfort, portability and environmentally friendly manufacturing techniques. This is done as the furniture is made with only four components and require no harmful glue. Photo Credits: designboom, forpeople
