American auto-tuner and car-manufacturer Hennessey has released a special limited edition supercar, the Hennessey Venom GT. The special edition was released to commemorate the Venom GT entering the speed record books last month.
At an event at the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida, the Venom GT hit over 270 mph, setting a new world speed record for a production series two-seater sports car. The car also managed to go from 0 to 186 miles per hour in only 13.63. This prompted Hennessey to release a special version of the Venom GT
The special edition has an extra-patriotic flair. Its paint scheme incorporates the stars and stripes of the American flag in the form of a white body with red and blue stripes.
