It is solar energy overload at Trend Hunter this week. Following yesterday's peel & stick solar panels, we bring you the venomous, cobra-inspired Solar Shades Canopies. Designed by Buro Nort , the idea was to harvest solar energy while providing cooling shade for kids at schools. This design hits two birds with one stone!
Utilizing solar cells on top of the canopies, large handles on the base allow the canopy to be rotated to get the most efficient orientation from the sun throughout the day. LED displays show the amount of energy generated and alert you if the canopies need to be turned around.
