Alibaba and Ford Came Together to Create a Vehicle Vending Machine

Thanks to Alibaba and Ford, car-buyers in Guangzhou, China will now be able to test drive cars given out by a vehicle vending machine. Known as the Super Test-Drive Center, this incredible vending machine has a capacity of 42 cars and can be accessed through the use of Alibaba's Tmall app. Prospective buyers simply need to pay for the test drive using the app, and then choose between 10 different models. The cars currently dispensed by the vehicle vending machine include the Ford Mondeo, the Explorer and even an important Mustang. The service will allow test drives for up to three days and certain Tmall users can even receive discounts based on their shopping profiles.

Unfortunately, the vehicle vending machine is only available for a limited time and is set to end on April 23, 2018. This publicity stunt is sure to enhance each brand's image, but the experience is also a great testing tool as a means to fully automate the car-buying process.
