Concerns surrounding germs and bacteria have been heightened over the course of the pandemic, and have become an inspiration for home product design as seen with the conceptual Utensil Disinfection Cabinet.
Designed by TOP DESIGN and Yǒkai, the appliance works by being set up on a countertop where it can be filled with your choice of crockery. The system will go to work eradicating germs and bacteria on the surface of items using bacteriostatic disinfection, while the auto mode will have it operating at regular intervals.
The conceptual Utensil Disinfection Cabinet is equipped with an opaque pop-down hood to let the user see the dishes within during the cleaning process. The unit will let users know how much time is remaining on the cleaning cycle via a built-in timer.
