Spill-Proof Yacht Barware

This Untippable Martini Glass is Ready for Drinks on the High Seas

This untippable martini glass has been designed as a barware solution that aims to offer seafaring consumers a way to enjoy a drink without having to worry that it might succumb to spillage when on the high seas. The glass features an asymmetrical design that sits on a base and will shift delicately with vessel movement to prevent it from tipping or spilling. The glass has been designed by BA (Honors) Product Design & Innovation student Andres Boraita at the Plymouth College of Art for the Britain-based Princess Yachts company.

Marketing Director at Princess Yachts Kiran Haslam spoke on the project saying, "This challenging design task follows a series of successful projects between Princess and Plymouth College of Art, with each project forming part of the course curriculum, enabling students to work towards a proposal with a genuine industrial or manufacturing outlook, and with each project playing a part in Princess’ brand activation."
