Designed by product and packaging agency Ahsayana Studio, this unique vase concept combines natural elements to produce a minimalist look.
The London-based studio hand-carves each vase from a block of Spanish marble from a quarry in the municipality of Macael -- a region famous for its marble. As a result of the unique patterns on each block of marble and each section of the blocks, each of the Angel Vases ends up having different patterns. Once carved, some parts of the vase are polished while others are left raw in order to showcase the natural features of the marble. A copper cylinder is placed inside each vase to hold water and flowers.
This unique vase concept contrasts the delicate glass or clay constructions that normally come to mind when one thinks of the word 'vase' and would be an excellent addition to a minimalist modern home.
