The humbler newspaper or magazine rack side table was commonplace in yesteryear but has since fallen out of fashion, which is something the conceptual 'Union' side table is here to change.
Designed by Deniz Aktay, the table maintains a two-in-one design that features a tubular base along with an inset magazine, newspaper or reading material storage section. These components combine to provide inhabitants and visitors alike with a place to position their favorite publications as well as their drinks as they socialize.
The conceptual 'Union' side table features darker wood for the tubular portion and a lighter variety for the storage area to create a juxtaposition between the two sections. The minimalist design accommodates the other modern furnishings likely to be found in the living space.
