Bandage-Bound Runways

Unbounded Awe AW 2011 Draws Inspiration from Creepy Corpses

Despite the many eccentric catwalks that have graced the runways this year, the Unbounded Awe AW 2011 show is definitely one of the most interesting.

Designer Ku WonJung was the brainchild behind the unique concept of the Unbounded Awe AW 2011 display. The models' white-painted faces were bounded in bandages as they strutted down the runway, looking a little creepy. The clothes themselves take elements from mummy bandages, featuring striped designs that emulates the illusion of the models being wrapped around in gauze.

The Unbounded Awe AW 2011 runway is well-executed and Ku WonJung has done an amazing job of tying her eerie yet intriguing concept together in this display.
