Ethnically Urban Runways

The UMASAN Spring/Summer 2015 Collection is Nomadic

Designers Anja and Sandra Umann presented their UMASAN Spring/Summer 2015 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. The menswear line took on a nomadic inspiration and presented the label's fans with a range of layered and dynamically draped pieces.

Standouts from the runway show included the label's sculptural wool and cotton staples that were styled with removable hood accessories and practical carryalls.

The presentation's theme was nomadic and ethnically inspired as models took to the stage in culturally-infused silhouettes and tribal-themed makeup looks. The guys resembled urban nomads in outerwear pieces that were light-weight and loose-fitting.

These menswear pieces were paired with red, linear face paint that was an understated translation of traditional cosmetics, often worn by native tribe members.
