The SenseX Uses UltraHaptics Technology to Transmit Emotions

The SenseX is a high-tech system, developed by a gorup of British scientists, that uses UltraHaptics technology to help users experience specific emotions without even touching them.

The UltraHaptics technology uses an array of ultrasonic emitters that produce ultrasonic energy that provides enough radiation pressure to be felt by the skin. And it turns out that different emotions can be induced by applying pressure at specific parts of people's hands.

There are already interactive technologies out there that make people smell things or feel tactile sensations, but the ability to influence people's emotions is something else entirely. The system could be used to send 'emotion messages' to people, add an extra dimension of reality to games and movies or transmit excitement at parties or public events.
