The Ultima Multipath is Made from Recycled Plastics

The 'Ultima Multipath' is the latest e-bike manufactured by Ultima, an electric bicycle company based in Vancouver, Canada. The Multipath was designed in collaboration with Protoform, a car-body manufacturing company. The resulting ebike, the Multipath, features a fully sustainable body made from recycled plastics and alloys, marking the first-ever bike to market with this composition.

Aside from its eco-friendly nature, the Multipath is a noteworthy bike as it features a smart shifting system from Valeo that uses a sensor to automatically change gears when appropriate, saving the rider time and effort. The Multipath is equipped with a 130 Nm, 48-volt mid-drive motor and either a 500Wh or a 650Wh battery, resulting in between 65 to 105km range depending on riding conditions.

The Multipath retails for €3,449 and €3,699 for the two configurations, being the 500Wh and 650Wh versions.
