Peek, the company that launched (unsuccessfully) a handheld email-only gadget last year, has released a similar concept called TwitterPeek. TwitterPeek is much like their previous idea, except it operates with Twitter and only with Twitter.
Obviously, the TwitterPeek device is meant for the person who just can’t get enough of Twitter so it might actually fare well in the social networking market. Reviewers, however, found that although TwitterPeek is supposed to connect you quickily and steadily to the Twitter stream, it actually takes 45 minutes to an hour to get feeds from friends and followers.
