The Twitnic Table joins the long and illustrious list of atypical Tweeters that features everything from Xbox 360s to end tables. The Twitnic Table was designed by Jeroen Coelen, Laurens Prins & Parizad Saremi, and actually projects Tweets with the hashtag IDtable.
The Twitnic Table is still pretty badass despite its inability to Tweet. The table was designed to increase interaction amongst college students via the magic of social media. I don't know how many college students would like to answer questions about class while taking lunch, but it couldn't hurt to ask.
