Swedish designer Sandra Backlund gives her organic and sculptural fashion collections funky names like, “Ink Blot Testâ€, “Perfect Hurtsâ€, and “Blank Pageâ€. Her current works titled, In No Time, are created with a solid, neutral colour of wool which accentuates the intricacies of these unique designs and does not distract from them. The way the 'punkish' models in the photos have their hair pulled back also draws attention to the details of the garments.
Backund says she is, “really fascinated by all the ways you can highlight, distort and transform the natural silhouette of the body with clothes and accessories.â€
Backlund's designs are not completely limited to wool. The In No Time collection also includes the very cute flapper dress made of clothes pins.
