Nordstrom is a leading fashion retailer and it recently launched its first-ever Canadian marketing campaign titled 'True Nord.' True Nord is produced in collaboration with Toronto-based advertising agency Ogilvy and centers around the concept of inclusivity that Canada exudes as a nation. The campaign welcomes that Canadian spirit by spotlighting a cast who embraces individuality and personal style. True Nord is named after a phrase in the nation's national anthem so that naturally, phrases including "with glowing hearts," "strong and free," and "from far and wide" would follow.
The campaign settings include natural landscapes as well as urban backdrops throughout the Greater Toronto Area and feature a 13 member all-Canadian cast. Some of the patriotic cast members include Harjas Singh, Mel Kobayashi, Biko Beauttah, and Yolanda May Largie. True Nord is shot by Canadian-born director and photographer Justin Tyler Close.
