The 'T’ROI' chair has been designed by Sarah Hossli as a seating solution for seniors that would enable them to comfortably sit down and stand up without the need for assistance.
The chair was designed by Hossli with the help of the Generationenhaus Neubad in Basel, Switzerland to take the true user experience into account. The chair thus features an ordinary seat and back, but is paired with extended arms that will enable the sitter to ease themselves up and stand back up slowly.
The 'T’ROI' chair supports elderly independence, while also helping them to protect their back, joints and bones from avoidable injury thanks to its ergonomic construction. The chair also features a relatively large footprint to maximize stability when being used.
