Tobias-Windsor Wayland is the designer behind the Tri-Go Scooter. His scooter concept is inspired by the Fiat 500, the Italian city car currently attempting to take the U.S. by storm, and is powered by electricity. The Tri-GO is powered by an electric engine capable of going as fast as 28 mph and as far as 31 miles. Its battery is a 48V 10Ah lithium-ion that is said to charge in as fast as two hours from a standard wall outlet.
The Tri-GO Scooter also comes with an iPod dock, a feature which should appeal to urbanites. Although it is still a concept, don't be shocked if scooters designed in the mold of the Tri-GO become more common in America's bigger cities. After all, bicycles make people sweat and don't come with iPhone docks.
