The natural world is often the subject of artistic expression, but few pieces take the sentiments as literally as Stefano Boeri's TREE-ROOM. The installation can be experienced in Northern Italy, at Arte Stella -- a unique open-air art museum.
TREE-ROOM seamlessly blends into its forested environment and stands as a circular installation that surrounds three trees. Visitors are invited to experience and interpret this piece however they please as they can sit and admire the landscape, get up and close among the trees, or take a seat on the structure. The main idea of the installation is to encourage harmonious interaction between the human and the tree, as well as create a space for contemplation.
