Homeless Photographers

The Trecho 2.8 Project Turns the Lens onto Another Reality

Trend Hunter has featured quite a few photography portfolios focused on the homeless -- but never has the camera resided in their hands as it does in the Trecho 2.8 project. An initiative of Instituto Brazis, it strives to teach the fundamentals of photography to those who genuinely want to learn.

The 10 homeless people in this unique program learned how to capture their reality from behind the lens over a five-month period. You can check out the chosen 50 images of the Trecho 2.8 project at the Op Art store space in Sao Paulo.
