The Trebuchette by E&M Labs Turns the Office into a Warzone

Sometimes heading into work can feel like going into war, especially if a person has a Trebuchette by E&M Labs, a Californian toy company founded by Caltech students Evan Murphy and Michael Woods, waiting for them on their desks. It is a siege engine modeled after the trebuchets used in medieval warfare.

Easy to assemble, the Trebuchette by E&M Labs is a downloadable file that allows people to print their own. They recommend using 1/4" birch plywood, 1/32" delrin and 1/32" leather as well as a piece of string to construct one. Once built, it is capable of hurling a toy ball over 70 feet.

Although it might not be the most productive toy to have at the office, it is certainly one of the most fun.
