Uber Purchased Routematch for Access to Transit Technology

Uber recently announced that it purchased Routematch, a transit software company that operates out of Atlanta. The terms of the acquisition were not made public, however, the purchase could help Uber expand its service into transit software. Routematch is an industry-leading organization that has worked with over 500 transit agencies previously. Despite the acquisition, Routematch operations will continue and Pepper Harward will continue to act as the CEO.
