This hotel is disguised as a trailer compound in a setting that is not commonplace for other establishments of its kind.
Called the 'Notel' and designed by James Frye, the outdoor hotel space sits on top of a rooftop car park -- offering views of Melbourne, Australia. The Notel is made up of six vintage Airstream trailers that have been cleared out and reworked by three different design groups. The walls of the hotel are made up of another building that has been painted in gradient pinks and purples, while the flooring comes in the form of a red carpet. The trailers themselves have designs that fuse modern and retro -- some of which are completely monochrome in color and match the pink color scheme of the outside.
This rooftop trailer compound offers an unconventional space for guests and visitors to rest and relax in.
