Toyota recently made a Nintendo DS navigation system in their latest Smart Navi car. In Japan, Nintendo DS is used in schools, and now it is being moved to cars as well. This navigation system is called the Kuruma de DS, and lets passengers use their Nintendo DS as a navigation device.
This navigational system provides sightseeing information, maps, a speedometer, quizzes and gives directions that take you directly to your desired destination. The system is linked to the vehicle through a Bluetooth game card that works with the DS, and then can be used as a remote control. The sound from the Nintendo DS can be connected to the main speakers in your vehicle, and the Kuruma de DS can be purchased individually through Toyota.
