A team of Japanese scientists have taken a revolutionary step in 3D technology. Using only ultrasonic waves and a Nintendo Wii controller, the team from Toyko University has created touch-sensitive human projections.
The program that was developed (with the mentioned tools) allows the 3D projection to track the movement of the subject around it and even react when touched. Up until now, holograms were strictly for entertainment and weren’t of much service at all.
The touch-sensitive human projections open up a new avenue for scientists to explore as far as this technology is concerned. BUCKLE UP!
