TotalEnergies Lubricants Releases an Eco-Friendly Product Line

TotalEnergies Lubricants is adopting an eco-friendly formula for its newest release. The Quartz EV3R collection features an assortment of lubricants made from regenerated base oils to transform them into sustainable alternatives. Aligned with eco-design principles and the 3R concept—Reduce, Reuse, Regenerate—TotalEnergies Lubriciants' new lubricant range embodies a reliable approach to minimizing environmental impact.

"TotalEnergies Lubrifiants is committed to accelerating the market’s transformation towards sustainability without compromising on performance and is leading the way with this first manufacturer-approved high-performance circular economy lubricants range," said Pierre Duhot, Senior Vice President of Lubricants and Specialties at TotalEnergies.

Quarts EV3R will be initially launched for passenger cars, while plans to expand compatibility will commence in 2025. Heavy-duty vehicles can anticipate the launch of a new line of lubricants in summer 2024. This line will consist of the Rubia EV3R 15W-40 and 10W-30.
