With the demand for vegan-friendly fare only continuing to grow, Toppers Pizza has just announced that it will debut a new vegan menu across its 60-plus locations nationwide starting on Monday, October 5, 2020.
Toppers Pizza's new vegan menu was curated by Melanie Manuel, who is a vegan chef and the owner of the all-vegan Milwaukee restaurant 'Celesta.' The new vegan-friendly menu at Toppers will introduce four fresh new toppings, which include a dairy-free mozzarella, a plant-based crispy chicken, a dairy-free ranch, and vegan-friendly Korean BBQ sauce. These new ingredients will be featured in three new, all-vegan pizzas: the Vegan Korean BBQ Chicken-less Topper made with Korean BBQ sauce, the Vegan Buffalo Chicken-less Topper made plant-based crispy chicken, and the Vegan Tuscano Topper made with dairy-free mozzarella cheese.
As Toppers Pizza Director of National Marketing & Menu Innovation, Mac Malchow, explains: "Our vegan customers have been lacking options in the pizza delivery and pickup segment of the restaurant industry, and we’re excited to be able to offer delicious new pizzas and toppings for them to enjoy."
