TIPA and Fresh-Lock have announced a new partnership in a bid to help expand home-compostable packaging solutions to push towards a more sustainable future. The partnership has seen Fresh-Lock launching two home-compostable packaging closures including Style 8531 with its Child-Resistant technology and Style 8035 that's observed as a single lock design. The closures make use of TIPA's proprietary home-compostable resin formulation that will help to combat against plastic use and pollution, while also enabling consumers to deal with their own waste from home.
VP/GM, North America at TIPA Rodrigo Castaneda commented on the TIPA and Fresh-Lock partnership saying, "We are thrilled to count the Fresh-Lock team among the innovative market leaders we work with, expanding the commercial availability of compostable packaging options in North America. This is a significant step to help consumers and businesses actively contribute to curbing the reliance on conventional flexible plastics and navigate quickly-changing policies on packaging waste management for the benefit of the planet."
