This concept for a range of tinned seafood was created by graphic designer Riccardo Tosoni of Torino, Italy. The intriguing concept features three female characters, who serve as unofficial mascots for the product. The aluminum tins feature ultra-modern illustrations that are inspired by local characters. Each aluminum tin is then wrapped in paper outfitted with the same pattern.
The narrative branding concept succeeds in creating a story that is both eye-catching and rooted in history and the heritage of the town. The three flavors included in the range are Paulette Citron (blue), Jesusa Pimienta (red) and Glenna Mustard (yellow). The packaging features a handful of information that further communicate the origin and freshness of the sardines, including a "handcrafted with love."
