Timberland, a footwear manufacturing brand, collaborated with Midlands-based hiking organization We Go Outside Too to release an outdoor collection featuring both footwear and apparel designed for outdoor use. The collection joins We Go Outside Too’s brand ethos, bringing nature's rawness and authenticity to the Black community. This is done by creating opportunities and safe spaces outdoor-wise for the Black community.
The collection consists of the Greenstride Motion 6 Hiker, designed for lightweight and enhanced comfort through its sole. Additionally, the shoe has a triangular lug outsole made of regenerative rubber and ReBOTL mesh panels with recycled plastic linings. As for the Fabric Leather, Euro Hiker has an EVA midsole with Timberland’s leather and textured ReBOTL fabric. In addition to the apparel, a Waterproof Timberdry Trail Jacket is designed with a lightweight and ripstop nylon outer. The collection is currently available for purchase.
