Tier Mobility Purchased Coup's Left Over Electric Scooters and Mopeds

Tier Mobility recently was able to acquire leftover assets from Coup, which ceased operations at the end of 2019. In total Tier Mobility will now have access to approximately 5,000 new mopes that were in use by Coup. Coup was active in Berlin, as well as Paris and Madrid. Tier Mobility will now also look to start a scooter service in Berlin, through the Tier app.

Lawrence Leuschner, the Tier Mobility CEO, spoke about the acquisition, We have gained valuable experience with e-scooters and can now use this effectively in the field of e-mopeds. Many customers want a slightly faster vehicle for medium distances of 4 to 10 kilometers. Now we can now offer these people a very good deal with high-quality vehicles"
