These Enclosed Pods Make Therapy in Prison More Secluded and Successful

These mobile pods were designed with rehabilitation in mind, making therapy in prison more secluded, secure and successful. Prisons are known to be very loud and aggressive environments, making it hard for prisoners to successfully reflect. These therapeutic pods were designed by Karl Lenton in order to provide a space for a prisoner and therapist to have an open dialogue.

Referred to as 'seedS,' the pods themselves were designed strategically so that there are no corners, edges or bumps that mentally ill patients could hurt themselves on. The outside is made from glass-reinforced plastic, which blocks sound both ways -- containing conversations on the inside while keeping the pod quiet from noise on the outside. Hopefully with the introduction of these pods, therapy in prison will become more peaceful and fruitful, helping prisoners successfully rehabilitate.
