Shanghai Disney Resort is offering consumers visiting the park a themed transportation service to begin immersing the guests into the animated world of Disney and its characters early on into the trip. The resort is offering two different Shanghai Metro subway trains that are personalized with prints of Disney characters. The train services the resort and allows visitors to get to and from different locations. By decorating the trains to suit the aesthetic of the park, the resort is pre-immersing visitors into the experience.
The trains pass through the Line 11 and offer a variety of drop off spots near by the park. The vehicles offer added convenience by eliminating the need to drive and park at the resort. While there is only two trains on the line at the moment, Shanghai Disney Resort hopes to add several more.
