Cinex Lets You Tweet Live on the Big Screen While Watching a Movie

Venezuelan movie chain 'Cinex' recently created a unique way to watch a movie at the cinema. Now you can have live discussions through Twitter, say what's going on in your mind and share it on the big screen.

With a big percentage of the screen still dedicated to the movie, Cinex designated a section of it for attendees to share their thoughts about the film, in real-time. Most recently, this innovation was shown off during a screening of the Venezuelan film 'The Worst Man on Earth,' which turned out to be a success for the company. Cinex is now planning to launch more screenings, turning this into a new movie format where people will be able to select if they want to watch a movie in 2D, 3D, 4DX or as a Social Movie.

With the participation of the recognized comedian Manuel Silva and the popular actress Elaiza Gil, who where in charge of giving instructions to the audience about how this new modality worked, the movie theater turned into a meeting between cinema addicts, Millennials and members of the Generation Z who all enjoyed an alternative way of watching a movie by making jokes, interacting with each other, making comments about what they think will happen in the movie and even getting to know new people, creating a totally new kind of movie-watching experience.
