The Zimmers Become Hit with 100 Year Old Rockers

With a combined age of more than 3,000 years, they are not the most obvious band to cover a Who classic. But these pensioners are causing a big sensation. The oldest member is 100 year old Buster Martin, whilst at 69 Eric Whitty is one of the youngest. The BBC brought them together for a TV documentary, but since they have attracted a cult following after recording a version of The Who's My Generation.

The 40 strong group - who call themselves The Zimmers, pulled in an audience of 20,000 in just two days of posting their video my YouTube. They are currently negoiating their first public performance at a London nightclub.
