The Wooly Sagas by Eszter Burghardy is another series of miniature scenes that she has created using everyday items. This series uses similar ideas, but different materials from her scenery art made from edible foods and sheep's clothing animal creations.
These ten photos show different nature scenes using fuzzy wool in different colors. Burghardy has created realistic mountainous scenes with snow and ice, smouldering volcanoes and creeks with green vegetation. These beautiful escapades have been shot using a macro lens to create realistic geographic terrains.
Eszter Burghardy is a Vancouver-based artist who began her career in photography and sculpture in 2009 after a residency in Iceland. Her work has been exhibited across North America, and she was recently awareded a Canada Coucil for the Arts Project Grant in 2012.
