Global studio G.A Design and Melbourne-based Fabio Ongarato Design created the W Hotel in Shanghai, China, the latest luxurious hotel from the chain. Placed in the North Bund, an up-and-coming neighborhood, the new hotel is a staple for modern architecture in the area.
The curvature of the building was created to allow sprawling city views from every guest room. With light-filled atriums, modern neon art installations, metal accent walls and classic brickwork, the space is filled with multiple different design style to make up a unique travel experience. The high-end amenities include the famous AWAY spa, a gym, five dining options and a large pool with a surrounding deck bar.
Each of the 374 guest rooms in the W Hotel offer comfortable furniture mixed with playful features to provide a high-quality stay.
