Designed by Amy Mon-Chu Liu for the Electrolux Design Lab, The Treat was one of the 2012 top ten finalists in a contest.
This concept addresses the problem of food storage in this day and age, when people are finding themselves pressed for time and lacking in necessary space. The Treat is a food tree that combines practical functionality with aesthetically pleasing design. The stylish white tree structure features elegant branches, on the ends of which are spherical pods. Each pod is an air-tight food container that not only holds onto your meals, but will also heat them up for you when you send a remote signal through your smartphone.
Have warm meals ready to eat when you get home when you use The Treat.
