Dixon Dedman is releasing ‘The Phoenix Blend,’ the debut small batch bourbon from 2XO Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. ‘The Phoenix Blend’ is a mixture of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys that combine two bespoke mash bills from distinct distillery partners, one with a moderate rye percentage and the other with a high rye bourbon mash bill. The expression starts with vanilla and caramel flavors, then transitions to red fruit in the center, ending with peppery spice.
"I named The Phoenix Blend very intentionally," said Dixon, "like a new beginning, 2XO aims to create something unique in American whiskey, and every release will strive to achieve something special. The initial response to The Phoenix Blend has been very well received. I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter."
