'The Other Volcano' is one of the most intriguing art projects I have ever seen. This volcano was designed by Nelly Ben Hayoun as an active volcano that you would live with until it erupted.
'The Other Volcano' would go through all the motions of a regular volcano, including rumbling and then finally exploding into eruption. Hayoun wanted to see how living with a volcano would impact a person's day-to-day life. Would they live in fear of the volcano or welcome it with open arms? Personally, I'd probably put it in the backyard -- but that's just me.
