Designed by Simone Micheli, the Marco Balestri House is a modern, eco-sustainable home located in the Lambrate district of Milan, Italy.
The house is characterized by an all-white color palette, smooth concrete pavement and many breaks in the walls. The white surfaces are electrified by tinted LED lights and random pops of color, most notably in the form of red columns placed throughout the home, both for functionality and decoration. The interior is decorated with white, geometric furniture, such as the white woven couches that stand before the ovular TV stand, and are part of the IT-IS Gruppo Euromobil, also designed by Micheli.
The upper and lower levels of the home follow a fluid, unconventional floor plan. Above the kitchen sits a light-filled loft space for prime rest and relaxation.
