The Pebble Watch is a 2.0 version of your typical digital watch, but aside from telling time, it also allows you to sync it to your iPhone or Android device. This device connects to your smartphone using a Bluetooth connection, and notifies you of any emails, texts or calls with a silent vibration. Since the display is made using electronic paper, you won’t have any trouble seeing your screen in daylight. There is also a backlight, incase you are in a low-lighted area.
Pebble also has a bunch of apps you can access, for example, if you are a cyclist or runner you can access the GPS, display speed or track the distance. Another nifty feature with this watch is that you can use it to control your playlist. If you’re one of those people who loves to blast music on your phone, you can replay or skip a song from anywhere in your home.
The overall benefit of this watch is that you can leave home without having to carry your phone around. The Pebble is modernly designed, and is customizable, so you can change the watchfaces to suit your mood or match your outfit. The watch is currently available in Jet Black, Cherry Red and Arctic White. The internal battery lasts up to seven days, and can be recharged on any computer with a USB cable.
